suspect that these birth and death dates (1830-1897) have been confused with his nephew, son of his brother Robert.
He then moved to Bootle in Liverpool and was Dockmaster at Huskins & Sadon docks.
In the 1871 census he was living at 84 Canal Street. He had five children.
