From Charlotte Greig:
William John left London on 3 June 1864 on
the Hudson and arrived in New York, New York on 19 July 1864. He
traveled with his mother Sarah Howes (a cousin of my Mum's), brother
Henry and sister Emma and eventually arrived in SLC. His older sister
Susan had travelled to SLC in 1861.
As far as I can tell, William married Ruth Elizabeth Worsdale, b in
Lincolnshire who travelled to SLC in 1871 with a sister Susannah and
her other Ruth Thompson.
