OCCUPATION
CHILDREN
daughter Mary Anne Jane b 1819 married James Keep
Edward married Ellen
Lydia married George Paul Franklin
GEORGE married Emma Wilkinson
The Lydia Hoey in the 1861 census was born in Dorking ----- so Lydia Lassam? She was married to a publican (DC) and Edward Hoey (also sons) w as a Licensed Victualler (DC) and PO directories. Jane keep daughter was with Lydia 1861 census - could be Mary Anne jane. Daniel Keep ( her father) lived in King st where the Anchor and crown Pub was and a George Keep was a signatory on the changes to George Hoey's will. I think thi s points to Lydia Lassam .
a Mary Ann hoey died in 1866 June 1b 506 aged 38! another daughter or another family altogether.
From susanne Hoey;
will of Lydia: George Hoey son ( of central St) and George Paul Franklin - son-in-law . In the will she leaves evrything (under £200)) to be divided between her three living children Mary Ann Jane Keep, Lydia, the wife of George paul Franklin and George Hoey. There is a lot more- to take into account if any of them had died - but this does prove conclusively that Lydia Hoey of Grosvenor Terrace, Horseferry road, formerly of 25 Gt Smith St is the mother of George
