[92] Priscilla went by the name Zellah. The name Zellah was the name her father wanted to give her, but the minister at the baptism refused to allow that name and baptized her Priscilla. (A Song of Lilia page 70). Note however that her birth certicate lists her as Priscilla and her birth was registered on 6 May 1862.

Worked in a fur factory from age 10 until she married at 17 as the family were left penniless after her father died intestate.

She had 13 children and 7 died in infancy.

Returned to England during boer war - at 89 Cressay House, Mile End Old town with Celestine (waitress), Mary, Lillian, Elizabeth and Agnes
